Sewer Backup From Heavy Rainfall

This homeowner came down into the basement after heavy rain to see if their sump pump was working properly.  When they came down into the basement it had an awful sewer smell and they knew that the sewer drain from the street must have backed up into a quarter of their basement.  SERVPRO's team was called in to clean and disinfect the area.  As you can see in the pictures it was only sewer water that was on the flooring.  All areas were cleaned and disinfected so that the homeowners felt comfortable going to the basement again.  The studs were wiped down and cleaned as well.
