Flooding Damage to Kitchen

Orange, Sullivan & Ulster Counties all got hit extremely hard by Hurricane Irene. This hurricane caused hundreds of houses and commercial buildings become under water. This home only had a small amount of water enter through their sliding glass door into their kitchen and dining room area. Since under the cabinets were not wet, SERVPRO decided to keep the flooring in until reconstruction so the homeowners did not lose the use of their kitchen. Clean lines and cuts are how SERVPRO likes to leave jobs. The flooring in front of the stove was starting to buckle upon arrival to the home and there was no way that the flooring could be saved.
