Mold is like Dandelions

Did you really think Dandelions and Mold had a lot in common? Believe it now, they really do. SERVPRO tries to educate their customers about mold and how it spreads easily. Think back when you were a child, you were walking home from the school bus, picked up the one Dandelion in the lawn and blew all the little seeds flew all over the grass. The next day, you start walking back from the bus; there is magically thousands of Dandelions now throughout the grass. Mold is like Dandelions; once you put air onto mold it will start to spread. This is why at SERVPRO we do not ever spray mold or Hepa Vacuum quickly. This will push the mold spores throughout the home or office and cause mold to spread to unaffected areas.
